We’ve found these beauty products to be cheap, effective and essential in any medicine cabinet. 

Andrea EyeQ’s 2-in-1 Eye Renewal Patch – You wear the patches for 30 minutes twice a week the first week and then once a week to maintain. It both diminishes dark under eye circles and reduces fine wrinkles around and under the eye. On the Drugstore Queen’s scale it rates about an 8 out of 10. Saw results after the first week and at under $10 for a month’s supply, it’s a pretty good value, too. Roc Retinol Actif Pur Day Cream with SPF 15 – We’ve been using this for about six months and love it. I believe their “wrinkles appear visibly diminished” bit ‘cause it’s worked for me. A little goes a long way with this stuff and if you get too heavy handed, your face can feel too oily. Priced under $20 for a tube that lasts at least 3 - 6 months it gets a 9 on this Drugstore Queen’s scale.

Sudden Change Eye Gel with Green Tea Extract – I just latched on to this baby and I love it. You can wear it alone or under makeup; it’s a clear gel that you put under your eyes to get rid of those annoying bags or puffiness. I saw a big difference the first time I used it and since I’m frequently sleep deprived, bags under my eyes is a common problem. It’s under $15 for a small jar, but you need only a tiny amount each day. This baby get a 10 on the scale.

Natural White Rapid White Tooth Whitening System – This product is a quick fix if you want whiter teeth in about a week. You wear the little trays for 20 minutes twice a day for max whitening; and I saw a visible difference after just three days and definitely after a week. The only downside is when you stop or cut back on the tray usage, your teeth pretty quickly lost some of their whiteness. This is a great product if you want a whiter smile for that big party Saturday. It’s priced around $20. It gets an 8 for quick fix and a 6 for longtime effect on the DQ’s scale.

Na-PCA Non Oily with Aloe Vera - by Twinlab comes in an 8 oz spray bottle. Wow, this stuff is awesome; my skin is so plump and dewy I can’t stand it. I got it at the Health Food store and it was $8.95; I spray it on in the morning after I wash my face and after I shower. I also found this great new eye firming gel - Roc’s new Protient Actif Pur Eye Contour Gel - it’s amazing. I put it on this morning and it was like an instant eyelift; no more puffiness or St.Bernard eyelids. This is great; I’m so young looking they’ll be carding me soon. Well, not really, but it’s a big change. That’s a Drugstore 7 on the scale.

Bio Medic Micro Exfoliating Scrub is the greatest invention ever and we’re cheating slightly because it’s not available at the drugstore. This phenomenal gel scrub makes your skin feel like it’s been sandblasted to baby smoothness. You rub it in circles for about 40-50 seconds on your face and it shears off years! You’ll need to order this online or find it at a spa. My sister tried it out at my house and had the same reaction: ‘My God. It’s unbelievable.’ $29.
